Summary
All MoneyMath calculations run 100% in your browser. The numbers you enter into calculators never leave your device — they are never transmitted, stored, or shared. We collect anonymized usage analytics (which tool was used, country, referrer, device) and serve ads — details below.
What we collect
- Anonymous analytics (Google Analytics or similar): page visits, device type, country, referrer. Never tied to your identity.
- Aggregated tool usage: which calculator was opened and whether a calculation was run, along with country, referrer domain, device type, and a rolling anonymous session ID that rotates daily. We store this in a private Supabase database to understand which tools are useful. We do not store the numbers you typed, the results shown, your IP address, or anything that could identify you.
- AdSense cookies: Google displays ads on this site. AdSense uses cookies to personalize ads and measure effectiveness. See Google's ad policies.
- Server logs: Standard web server access logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) retained for up to 30 days for security.
What we do NOT collect
- Calculator inputs. Any numbers, text, or selections you enter into a calculator stay in your browser. They are not sent to our servers.
- Email addresses. We do not operate a newsletter and do not collect emails.
- Account information. MoneyMath has no user accounts.
- Personal identifiers. We do not fingerprint browsers, track across sites, or build user profiles.
Third-party services
We use the following services that have their own privacy policies:
- Google AdSense — ad display (privacy policy)
- Google Analytics — traffic analytics (privacy policy)
- Supabase — aggregated tool-usage events storage (privacy policy)
- ipapi.co — country lookup from your IP (no IP is stored by us) (privacy policy)
- Our web host — DigitalOcean (privacy policy)
Your choices
- Block cookies: Your browser settings control cookie acceptance.
- Opt out of personalized ads: Visit Google Ad Settings.
- Opt out of analytics: Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Children's privacy
MoneyMath is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy as services change. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
